Yes, for our purposes medals are any award including ribbons.

For most tournaments, top 6 teams get medals I am not sure this is true. If you could send me a list of tournaments that do award medals to top 6, I can manually override the default medal values for those. For the record, this is due to Google Sheets sorting the list of schools in a slightly different way than the source they are imported from. The canonical list of schools is located here:
