Re: MIT Invitational 2018

Luckily it didn't come to that, but it would be nice to have a few more stations for impound. If getting volunteers is a problem, simply starting the impound process earlier could easily fix the problem. The biggest problem with these are 1) getting the tracks themselves - a group of us had to actu...

Re: MIT Invitational 2018

If anyone has any questions about Fermi (I think I did my best explaining everything in the answer key, although the physical copies I was given in my box were incorrect so you guys might have gotten incorrect ones), feel free to send me an email at justin.kang23@utexas.edu

Re: MIT Invitational 2018

What did you think of the rocks exam (I know I asked on the day of the competition)
PS: I made a huge doc with all the score breakdowns and it should hopefully come with the exam when MIT sends those out.

Re: Solar System B

What are the rules about use of calculators in a test?
The rules don't explicitly say anything about a calculator. I'd check your supervisors to be safe (I wouldn't be surprised if they said no calculators allowed), and maybe ask for a clarification on the official rules site.

Re: Fermi Questions C

If a 6-pack of Monster got converted into pure energy based on its caloric content, how long could it keep a 60-watt lightbulb on for?
