I guess this is why is it called Science "Olympiad". At the US Olympic Track & Field (and swimming) Trials, often is the case is that the US can only send 2 participants per event to the Olympics, regardless of their times. which sometimes means that the 3rd fast American, who could be the 3rd faste...

Dominant Team in Meteorology With Ohio being a top tier state and Solon being the gold standard for any state, take a look at this: Meteorology State Meet in Ohio since 2008. Chardon Middle School has finished 1st 4 times, 2nd 3 times and 4th once. They seem to peak in Columbus. Nice job.

Who do you guys think will get second in the state as of right now? It's almost certain that Solon will win first, but second is a toss-up. Personally, my bet is on Mentor Memorial or Tower Heights middle school. I think you have to consider Magsis, Westlake and Chardon, but Memorial has been split...
