Re: Pennsylvania 2020

Anyone know what the bids to states from SEPA are going to be like these year?
Probably something around 4 from Southeast South and 3 from Southeast North based on the number of schools in each

Re: Fossils B/C

why did they remove the numbers in the fossils list? It made it much easier to locate my notes
I notice that there is no longer the rule that only numbered specimens may be tested on for identification questions. Probably something to do with that.

Re: Pennsylvania 2020

Looks like a pretty good split. Three(-ish, do we even count Penncrest anymore?) top teams in SS (the smaller one) and two in SN (the larger one). woah watch what you say abt penncrest, theyre still an amazing team!!! Agreed, I wish they weren't that good so we could make states more easily

What are some good textbooks for this event? Have you asked this question already? At any rate, if you're looking for more resources in addition to those addressed, you could skim the official AP Physics quantitative skills guide from the CollegeBoard. Not everything in the guide will be in this ev...

Re: Sounds of Music C

Last year I had an issue with my instrument not registering on the app very well in competition and had heard that other types of instruments did better? We had a percusion instrument of brass tubing. Any suggestions in what type of instruments would work best? I made a recorder last year, and it r...

Re: Circuit Lab B/C

Will Maxwell's equations show up on the Division C test? Since different people write the tests at each competition, it's possible that some test writers will ask you about these things. From experience, they tend not to ask these though, and in the rare cases that Maxwell's equations are used, the...

Re: Sounds of Music C

What is a good place to learn the basics of music theory? You could use an ap music theory review book but it’ll cover much more than you need to know for the event so there’re probably better resources for sounds specifically. Went through a quick search, and https://iconcollective.com/basic-music...
