Re: Mafia Round 1

Okay so maybe we should withhold from voting today? Does that mean that we should all go to sleep for the night?

Re: Astronomy C

I just heard that there is a contest to give names to discovered exoplanets! I thought it would really cool to have Science Olympiad, or just the Scioly organization, to suggest "Scioly" as a name for one of the 20 listed exoplanets. I checked the list and they have Fomalhaut b listed which happened...

Re: Mafia Round 1

Does anyone have an accusation to make?

Ex. I think Fibonacci924 is in the mafia. His name kinda sounds like illuminati. Suspicious?

Re: Best invitationals to attend

Rustin Invitational I know this might be kinda self promoting, but the Rustin Invitational is a great invitational that focuses solely on B division. Its located in West Chester, PA. We had 3 teams who attended that went on to the national competition. Since I got to help run the invitational I woul...

Re: National test discussion

I think everyone should not be literally asking Chalker for every single score available. Alright, if the nats people all decide to release it it's on them :P. But honestly, it is not, and should not be, essential to see the scores for everything (even builds). Sure, some people like it for motivat...

Re: Bungee Drop C

Im not sure if any of you know this but the heights from last years nationals were only around 5-6 meters. It is likely that the heights will not be any higher this year. From the photo of the event location posted , if they have the setup by the rails, it looks like it'll be around 4-5 meters. Unf...

Re: National test discussion

That is something I always want to know. Finding out raw scores and actually seeing what it takes to be the best is really motivational. I liked the MIT inviational espically because they released raw scores and also showed them during the award ceremony.

Re: National test discussion

Also, would it be possible to see the raw scores for It's About Time for the top 6? ) 93.52 91.21 90.61 89.34 88.91 88.58 Very interesting. I thought the test was well put together, and I even took the national test from 2010. My score on that test would have placed 2nd at nationals that years and ...
