Re: Optics B/C

The people doing it on my team are able to get close to a perfect score almost every time (all 5 mirrors + barrier mirror + very accurate). It's just the test that kills us....

Re: Pennsylvania 2017

To those more familiar than I with PA: how likely is it looking that Conestoga makes it to nationals?

Harriton is doing quite well, as expected, but Bayard Rustin has fallen off a lot and Penncrest seems weak. Personally I think it's definitely possible, if not likely.

Re: Way Too Early Predictions

I think as good as Mira Loma and Solon appear to be at times, Troy is absolutely dominant. I can't see a way any team overtakes them. I'd be surprised if they don't win nationals by at least 50 points. 1. Troy, by far (I think they'll medal in >16 events) 2. Solon 3. Mira Loma 4. Harriton 5. Centerv...

Re: MIT Invitational

Yes but look at their national placement and recent invitational placements show them way over LASA. I remember one kid from Seven lakes at nationals who placed in 5ish events. Not sure if hes still on the team... LASA never takes any of these early invitationals seriously (and Clements doesn't eit...

Re: MIT Invitational

Seven Lakes that far down? And Harriton still up after losing what many say is their best SO class in several years? I didn't know Harriton's SO class last year was their best; in that case, they'll probably do worse, maybe around 4th-8th. I personally don't buy into the hype surrounding Seven Lake...
