Re: Replaying Events for 2021
SOInc has said that they will "adjust" the rules for various events, though only a couple specific examples are given. I would assume (and hope) that both boom and gravity will be changed enough to merit some device redesign, but nobody can really say for sure. I feel that there is a need...

Re: 2020-2021 Detector
Hello fellow competitors, I was wondering if there is any anticipation for next year's event, since under the current statement by Scioly; the event rules will remain the same. What are your thoughts and feeling on next year's detector with the same rules? I personally feel that next year, this wil...

Re: Covid-19 and Nats/States
+1 to that Also, if we keep moving forward with test paper prep and other activities as if Nats will happen in summer, it will make it possible. It is just a mind shift change, from cancelled to post-poned. Sadly, holding it during what are the summer months for some schools doesn’t seem feasible. ...

Re: Replaying Events for 2021
I know this has been said, but Detector is going to be an absolute joke next year. I've heard it was already considered very easy back when it was a trial event, do you have any more info? Sure. These are my issues with the event. Like Umaroth said somewhere earlier, luck is a huge factor with the ...

Re: Solar Power B/C [TRIAL]
I like the idea of the event, but with the current rules there are just too many variables and problems with the event. 1) There is only a minimum height to the light source - there is no maximum height. 2) The temperature of the water is also not specified - in my experience, it has always been roo...

Re: 2020-2021 Events

Re: 2020-2021 Events
Are you thinking about something like Source Code (but I guess Source Code doesn't have a timed question). I was really hoping Source Code would replace Code Busters especially considering that it has been run as a trial event. I didn't know that was a trial event, but from reading the wiki page it...
