Re: Scores

Vehicle Details: Carbon Fiber and 3-D printed body. Rear axle is 3/16 in carbon fiber, front one is 1...

Do you have a link to your specific rod, since all the ones that I can find require a minimum of 50 pcs to purchase? Same question, I'm getting a minimum of 100 ac...

Anyone know where you can find metric sizes of aluminum/titanium threaded rods? All I can find are in inches.

Re: Mousetrap Vehicle C

Make sure the instructions meet the rules and then follow them or modify them accordingly. I had a teammate u...

Re: Mousetrap Vehicle C

The rules say that i can not use anything electronic. But what if i use a mechanical generator to power a laser for my aiming device. Or is that still electronic? My experience here is: If you don't have a FAQ, don't do it. You don't want to lose the argument with the ES and get a violation. Many s...

Re: Mousetrap Vehicle C

Hey everyone, I was watching a few videos and saw the usage of geared axles. I was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages were of using geared axles instead of a simply thicker axle. Thanks Gearing is typically used to increase torque allowing faster acceleration in this application (unlikely ...

A note on maximum scoring: don't forget we get 2 points for each second of the chemical timer and 1 point off for each second over the target. That means there are points that can gained by intentionally going over the target if the chemical timer is what extends the run.

Re: Fermi Questions C

New question: what is price of single item in the displays at the NYC Apple Store converted to japanese yen? Not entirely sure what you meant here, but here's my guess: My guess is the new iPhone is what is currently in the displays at the apple store, price = $800 = 8e2. If I remember correctly, t...
