Re: Wright Stuff C

Hi guys, I've been trying to make my plane fly right and am running into a problem. It rises fine but once it starts descending its nose dips and starts falling fairly quickly in a smaller circle (almost like spiraling down but not that extreme). I've tried a variety of things but can't seem to figu...

Re: Wright Stuff C

Hello everyone! About to start this season and I have some questions:
1) Has anyone tried the freedom flight kit yet? How has it performed?
2) How have people been approaching having one plane fly in both directions?

Re: Nationals Event Discussion

Potions (10): I was super happy with my placement though the test overall was kinda weird. It hit most of the bases, but I was surprised that there weren’t any serial dilutions or pollution maps. There was no dedicated section to metals which was weird as well. It was a little disappointing to see ...

Re: High Ceiling Strategy

I've been looking through the forums for strategies for nationals since there's a 40' ceiling there and ive only flown at 24' max. I keep seeing stuff about the partial motor technique and I was wondering if anyone could explain it to me.

I might have missed someone saying this somewhere, but does anyone know if well be able to trim the day before? I remember we could a couple of years ago and it was super helpful.

Re: Nationals Room Announced

I think people are overestimating. 3:00 to 3:15 to place, winner will probably be somewhere between 3:30 and 4:00. Might go over 4:00 if they're very good and lucky. Teams almost never do as well at Nationals as people predict. I have to agree with this. Despite the fact that people place well at p...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

Does anyone have any good materials for nationals? I've been doing this event for a couple of years and am really trying to place well this year. I've taken lots of good invitational tests but nats is always kinda different since its made by the cdc

Re: Times

I've been flying in about a 20 foot gym and was wondering what other people were generally getting. I've had about 2:30 as an average.

Re: Protein Modeling C

I'm new to this event and honestly I'm a bit lost as to where to start studying for the exam section. I've looked at the resources on soinc but all of that stuff seems to be mainly about building the models and some of the links haven't updated this year. Can anyone show me stuff for protein folding...
