This news is just crazy to me. Condolences to the joeris family. Balsa Man was s...

Sorry I'm not quite sure. I wasn't there, although I don't understand. What's happening with Avogadro? Has it broken down or something?

Re: Remote Sensing C
What a way to end the season! Not only did we beat Stevenson (good team), we were able to come first out of all 12 teams at our regionals! Sounds like little but it means so much to me. Thank you everyone for your help. You really helped me get what I got today. Good luck to all the competitors out ...

Re: Materials Science C
I'd just like to thank everyone for their help. Freshman season officially over. Got SECOND at regionals out of 12 teams for Materials Science (Only team that beat us was Stevenson which is a nationally ranked team) and so I'm very proud. I'll still be on the forums once in a while but probably won'...

Re: Crystal Structure

I'm hoping to see if anyone can help me figure out how to determine the crystal structure that will be formed or a given material There have been questions on the practice tests that ask us to figure out the crystal structure of materials such as sodium chloride and I am not too sur...

I'll also revive this thread! A new polymer is being tested for use as a a lightweight rain jacket. a. Given that the empirical formula of this compound is (completely made up, not real) CH3N, what types of attractive forces would you expect molecules of this polymer to exhibit? b. In a laboratory,...
