Re: Florida 2020

It looks like there has been a change in scores on the MIT website (Sounds of Music seemed to be graded incorrectly). Kudos to OSS for placing 23rd, rising in rankings and decreasing in scores from last year. Can't wait to see the results at states! I'm definitely very proud of what my teammates wer...

Re: Protein Modeling C

In that case, (for those who are going) is everyone sticking to the BE4 plasmid for the MIT Invitational this weekend? Also, I’ve submitted requests for rules clarifications, asking whether BE4 is the correct plasmid we’re supposed to model and if we’re supposed to model the expression plasmid sepa...

But 1r5t A(idk if that's the best representation of APOBEC1) and 5keg structure are.....somewhat close. imo, I dont think they want us to build a whole new model. I really hope this turns out to be another...

Re: Protein Modeling C

is there a difference? structure might be the same/similar enough They’re very similar proteins but not quite the same, but it is confusing that they reference how the A3A model should “fit within” BE4. My team interpreted the rules as possibly meaning a separate model should be made for the BE4 pl...

Re: Florida 2020

Thank you so much UFSO for hosting another great competition! Despite the fact that there were a few unexpected issues (e.g. supervisors dropping out at the last minute from what I heard), the tournament was overall run smoothly. Anybody have results for North or South regionals? I heard scores are ...

Re: Florida 2020

Congratulations to Boca High Team 1 for getting 1st overall at the UGA invitational! It’s a strong start to their season, which will continue at MIT in January, against some of the best teams in the country, including Archimedean. Re: Protein Modeling C

So we should be making our pre-build according to what CBM says, not the current rules right?

Don't you have to have Java downloaded for this?
Yep
