Re: Sighting/Alignment

Ok, thanks :) Are you planning to use a rifle scope in your buggy? If so, are you planning to do the thing that you mentioned? Scope? Of course. 4 feet off the ground? Naw... I gota get down on the ground. But I'd like to see it! Last year at nats I had to lay down on the ground like a sniper to si...

Re: Those moments you will never forget!

Re: Sighting/Alignment

I was planning on making a rifle scope holder to the top of my buggy and sight the crosshairs on the inside side of the outer bonus can. Then I could just make my car go a little to the right of the can Would that work consistantly as you adjust your steering or are you using one set curve? Our sco...

Re: Herpetology B/C

Re: Stopping

If you look back on last years forum there’s several great detailed explanations of this but the most common way is using a threaded rod as your axle and have a wingnut on it. Have something hold the wing it in place in relativity to the car and as the axle turns the wingnut will move to one end, wh...

Re: Herpetology B/C

You could always copy the relevant material onto your computer – that both helps you use space efficiently and helps you remember the general gist of things (although whether that's an efficient use of your time is debatable). Another option is scanning the pages. This is exactly what I did last ye...

Re: Herpetology B/C

Since I don't have a printer friendly version of my field guide, can I just tape a piece of paper to it with three holes to attach to the 2-inch binder? I probably wouldn't put a field guide in a binder, as that will probably use up most of the binder space that you have in there. You could always ...

Re: Herpetology B/C

I managed only a 1 1/2 inch binder last year and I didn’t even fill it all the way, that’s crazy how some people had 6 inch binders
