As long as there is more than 20 cm clear between the balloon and the target. For example, we rolled up the balloon like party blower. Anyone tried sealing the end of the party blower and call it a balloon? What did you use to keep the balloon rolled up? Paperclip? We tried first with Mylar balloon...

According to the rules, it is up to the discretion of the supervisor. In my opinion, knowing some people get put on build events simply for the sake of having two people, as long as one person is able to easily affirm they built it and the supervisor senses it is beyond "reasonable doubt"...

They are definitely worth it, but should NOT be your first priority. They are very difficult to finish and consume quite a bit of time. Has anyone managed to get a chemical timer to work consistently? I tried using the balloon inflating task with baking soda and vinegar, but that varied from taking 30 seconds to 10 minutes....
