Lol, the only thing i do before a competition is play fortnite until 2 in the morning and wake up at like 3 to play more fortnite, then eat nothing during breakfast and survive the award ceremony half asleep and starving because i only ate one pizza slice and a coke for lunch.

They could very well be normal boomilever designs, i was able to make a 5 gram boomi, it didn't do very well, but i was try to see if 3000 was possible, it looks like you have to get really lucky with the wood you get (very strong but very light) and have a pretty good design. It seems to me that people are getting better scores in div c, is this because they can make theirs weigh less more easily because they only have to make it to 15cm under the hook? Even though it is weaker, they can still make it hold and be around 6-7. Last year in towers, div c’s were automaticall...

It is necessary to use gorilla glue for the distal endsif I want to get full hold? I currently use gorilla glue but can the purple cap CA glue get full hold? I use basswood for tension and laminate it to my compression pieces which are balsa.

I’ve been coming up with a design that will get 3000 and it seems very possible in theory, although it might not work in practice. I’ll have to try it out before nats.
