Re: 3D Printer Help
Hello! In an amazing turn of events, last night a local business owner called and donated a 3D printer to our team. I have virtually no experience using one but was hoping to get it up and running so we could possibly use it for states. Could anybody help me out? Any and all advice is appreciated. ...

Re: Parachute material
You'll also be able to increase your times by optimizing the ratio of parachute radius to string length for the weight of the ping pong balls you're using. Can you elaborate on this? Seems like when our kids go bigger with the parachute, there comes a point where it is just too heavy (no matter how...

Re: Parachute material
We are consistently getting flights above 20 seconds with ceiling height of about 33ft but want to get above 30. We are using the thinnest painter plastic now for our parachutes but have seen teams with some type of plastic that seems lighter and can get flights into 40 second range. Anyone know wh...

Re: Glue on Top of the bottle
No glue may contact any part of the bottle itself. If you are applying glue to another piece that is then taped onto the bottle, that is fine.stlcards422 wrote: ↑January 25th, 2022, 2:55 pm can we have glue on top of the bottle as long as its not touching the part where the pressure goes in

Re: Use of Glue on top of Tape
The rules state: Basically no glue can be touching the bottle. However, can glue be used if it is separated by a layer of tape? I am looking to attach fins to the bottle, but have found that the tape quickly becomes very heavy. The use of glue would be lighter and more secure but is obviously prohi...

Re: First time doing Wright Stuff...some questions
Hi I have a question on how to get my plane to gain height/climb. Any info would be appreciated. I have been testing my plane a little bit. I don't put that many winds in (I do 300 or so), for fear of hitting a wall or something like that (I, unfortunately, have not gotten access to a gym or other ...

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
Soooo my choir director expects us all to memorize a 70+ page piece for our Christmas concert on top of another piece (it's shorter, but still with the other piece....) Oh and the concert is in two weeks. And we have like 6 more practices. And on top of that, I'm literally failing classes because I...
