Thank you! I will print out a copy of the general rules as well as the hovercraft rules for state since we have the same ES for state.
Do you know if this ES will permit battery changes in the state tournament?

Our ES at Regionals wouldn't let us change batteries between runs, no matter how much my partner and I pointed to the rule allowing us to modify our vehicle between runs. Has anyone tried using a centrifugal blower fan for lift? Is it ok to use a flexible mesh, or does it have to be rigid to cover the propellers? The rules say that a 3/8" dowel should not touch the prop, but does this mean that if I press it against a flexible shield and the shield flexes and touches the prop it will be not ok?
