Results are in from yesterday's round of tournaments here in North Carolina! Some interesting things to note: First place for both Durham B and Durham C has been won by two different homeschool teams. Additionally, Atkins Academic and Technology High dominated the Winston-Salem Regional with 35 poin...

Re: Nationals Event Discussion

Hi, Enloe team here. Thank you! I actually found herp at States this year quite difficult, much more so than nats or regionals. Regarding vocalizations, there was none (I'm a bit disappointed I was never tested on a single call my whole time doing herp :'( ). If you're making an ornithology test ne...

The test was simply nowhere near the standard that a national, state, or honestly even regional-level test shou...

Re: Your Daily Random Comment

"Visiting" implies spending time doing something valuable, so only if you stop and do an activity other than driving through. Pit stops and hotel stays don't count - they are part of the process of travel. Then if you were to say take a train trip through several states and in each state ...

Re: Awesomely Run Event Stories

Everything went very well for me at NC states at NC State :). The Experimental Design supervisor was very informed about the event and knew what he was talking about. He was easy to get along with and I learned later that he is actually on the faculty of the Piedmont IB team. They are lucky to have ...

Re: Ohio 2019

So the word on the street is that the division B anatomy test had very little if anything to do with the content in the rules manual. And if you look at the scores, Anatomy was the worst or second worst event for several of the top teams including Solon, Kenston, Chardon, Tower Heights, Magsig etc....
