Re: Forensics C
1. What law is used to determine the ratio of the angle of incident and the angle of refraction, based on either velocity or refractive index? (The name of the law should include the name of the person it was named after, not just "the law of refraction") 2. What are the five methods used...

Re: Machines B/C
Can someone share an example of a graph for this event? I don't really understand what the variables need to be. For the variables, I would say, just use the distances of the masses, and like your estimate vs the actual ratios. The comparison of the different variables/constants can be what your gr...

Re: Machines B/C
Does anyone know if the ratios for the lab portion of machines have to be in decimals or not. If so up to what decimal place does the ratio have to be at. For the ratios, I believe they should be decimals, but the number of decimals is not really specified, so you can put as many as you want (but i...

Re: Machines B/C
I did go to the UT Austin Invitational, and we did receive OUR tests, but they have not posted the tests and keys yet, so we don't know the ratios yet.masterkite wrote: ↑November 6th, 2019, 12:26 pm Hello guys, did anyone here go to the Texas invitational? If so, what were the ratios for the weights for division B and how was it run?

Re: The University of Texas at Austin Invitational 2019
It was my school's first time attending the UT A Invitational. For both Division B and C, it was a very well run competition, and had great quality tests. We only had two issues with the competition in Division B, which were a scoring error in Reach For The Stars (195 instead of 95) and a confusion ...

For the graph/charts, will there be a template on soinc? I am wondering as I have an invitational this weekend, but they have not posted a template on the website yet.

Re: Machines B/C
I don't understand the #7-32-5 thing, as when I was looking it up, most results showed 7/32-5/8" or something close to it. Could you please describe what it means?
