Can I roll a golf ball down a ramp, and then pull that golf ball back up that same plank and count it as the inclined plane action? How can you claim a gear system is 3:1 if it doesn't do the rotations as expected?

But the rule says that the wingnut has to be threaded on the rotating screw and the wingnut has to move 2cm horizontal distance. The rule clarification and the rule seem to be different.
