Re: Thermodynamics B/C Build

At least its only an invitational. Sometimes it takes a hard lesson to really learn. And you should be happy you got third. Yeah I should be happy for third place But the feeling of a chance of getting first place if I just did something simple as slip on googles makes me angry But its ok :? I'm ki...

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C

Does anyone know what the best ways to split this up with a partner are? On a lot of events there are ways to split it in two but everything seems really related on this one. I wouldn't split the stuff up with my partner as you should have a general knowledge of all the topics as you don't really k...

Re: Thermodynamics B/C Build

They are in fact in the rules. Always check the rules! :) Anyway, I'm using either EPS or XPS foam (they're similar to Styrofoam). Thank You :!: Also could you tell me where i could buy EPS or XPS foam please? They seem like a really good insulation according to you! :) Aside from retail stores and...

Re: Thermodynamics B/C Build

What are the Stuff That I can't use in this year's Thermodynamic Competition(2019). Also What are some good materials I could use to conserve the heat? (If you are allowed to tell me) Thanks! I believe that they are in the rules... Aerogels, wood, and foam work well. Though this is my first year as...

Re: Thermodynamics B/C Build

It has to be closed cell, open cell will just absorb water. Problem is that it can expand as altitude increases, which was problematic last year since nats was in Colorado. Ah, thanks! I might just stick to EPS/XPS foam anyway, as it's less hassle though... I guess we'll see how important the build...
