Marking the Beams

Hello. So while I was designing/prototyping my lever I was wondering how you guys figure out the marking on each side of the lever (which you use for the calculation of the ratio's). Thank you.

Insulation Material/Waterproofing

Hello. So I was wondering if any type of Insulation Material is even required since my probe works fine with soldered wires and heat wrap (and the wire is already insulated as/is so is there any type of requirement to have some sort of coating on the length of your whole probe, or is that not necess...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent the wood from warping further? My coach sa...

Re: Gravity Vehicle C

I've been trying to find out how this works as well, but I was wondering how the car would fully come to a stop since it is never going to hit up against something to make it come to a full stop? The wingnut will compress the spring. The spring will eventually either be all the way compressed, or i...

Re: Gravity Vehicle C

Clean the floor. Clean the wheels. Good suggestions. Additionally: how fast are you going when you brake? What kind of brake are you using? If youre going fairly fast and have a "lock" brake (such as a wingnut), youre gonna have skid regardless of how good your brakes are and you may want to consid...

Re: Gravity Vehicle C

I know this might be a pretty stupid question but where would you place the Scope, on the actual ramp or on the vehicle when you're aiming it (If you have no guide rails)
