Re: National Free Flight Society Sponsorship
Coach Chuck, I agree with Xiangyu! You guys have been so generous and helpful over the past couple years. It's very sad to see nothing happening on this forum  I built a new plane this year. The one chance I had in the gym it performed much better than last year's plane. We have a "virtual...

Re: Illinois 2021

For State? It looks like there is a schedule, is that optimistic or will build events happen at State?

Re: Ping Pong Parachute B/C
That's a negative on the successful deployment. We have tried folding, rolling up, sitting on top and draping over but nothing has been consistent. In our tests yesterday we had deployment a few time but it was very late almost halfway thru fall about 10-12 feet off the ground. A lot of people are ...

Re: Ping Pong Parachute B/C
I actually did this event as a trial two years ago and we were only allowed to load to 40psi. I found that this gets it up pretty high and we got about 13-15 second launches. I'm hoping to get 30ish second launches this year! good luck everyone! I am helping to coach this event and we are not getti...

Re: Rule 5.g: Hitting the ceiling
I had a doubt about the rule about the rocket hitting the ceiling. Say the Event Supervisor defines the ceiling as the lowest hanging object from the ceiling (ex: nets or something like that) and a team goes up, launches their rocket, but the rocket exceeds the height of the "ceiling" (de...
