Re: Indiana 2020
Just think if anyone took any of the flu virus strains so seriously. You know, that thing which kills several thousand people every year.

Thanks for all the fish.
I'll never forget the trials and tribulations the SO brought into my life.
I'm better for it.

Re: Nationals Bid Discussion
This would be an unofficial ranking done by the scioly community for fun. The idea behind aggregating multiple voters is that it decreases the influence of bias (you could even take out the highest and lowest ranking of each team to cut out bias even more). I don't think it would be something to ta...

Re: Nationals Bid Discussion
Maybe one thing we can improve as a community is giving recognition to teams that don't make nationals; perhaps that's just a poll where a set number of people who have been around a bit vote on who they think the top 25 teams in the country are, regardless of state restrictions. Maybe we have a th...

Re: Nationals Bid Discussion
If we're throwing out ideas here, what about this: 1) Figure out the critical mass of teams for nationals at the venue. 2) Give the #1 team in each state an automatic bid. 3) Give 1 extra bid to states in alphabetical order to satisfy the max amount of teams. 4) Subsequent years pick up at next alph...
