Does anyone have any good ideas for how to waterproof a thermistor? For some reason, when we cover ours with liquid electrical tape, and clear nail polish, they read very inaccurately. Does anyone know if a potentiometer (variable resistor) could be used for on-the-fly calibration at the event? Hmm.. I think you could use a potentiometer to adjust the brightness/contrast of your LCD if you are using one. From what I have heard, the event supervisor may not show you the reading on...

Why is a Raspberry Pi listed in the rules manual when you cannot use a), a digital thermistor, or b) an off-the-shelf ADC? This leaves only the Arduino and TI Innovator as options.
