Re: Crimebusters?
This will be my second year in C, and yes I have competed, the resource page was helpful, I if it was lost or stolen or something, I would be able to work without it. So in short yes, but I didn't need it. When I used it to compete this was the same situation for me. With the exception of maybe the...

Re: Crimebusters?
It did in my final year (2 years ago) and last year as well so I would assume so unless they are changing the rules.soccer_5456 wrote:wait. forensics in C..does it have resource pages?

Re: Crimebusters?
I COMPLETELY agree. Whenever people ask me for help you can tell if they have been relying on the resource page or not. It is much better to KNOW the event and use the page as backup or if you have a partner who doesn't know the event then to rely heavily on it. The first thing I always say is to be...

Re: Site features? [3]
Ok, that's what I thought (and hoped). I was wondering what would be the point of karma in general chat. It just struck me as not the greatest idea. I do, however, like the idea for event help. It will be a great way for people to know who knows what they are talking about and who is still learning....

Re: Indiana Science Olympiad
IU Bloomington's State is mostly, if not almost all, volunteer. The IU SOS (or Science Outreach Society...formerly known as the SO club) helps run and coordinate a large chunk of it, plus professors, other people and societies around campus, SO national/regional supervisors and everyone else. I'm no...

Re: What are you doing this summer?
Participating in the Summer Medical And Research Training (SMART) program at the Baylor college of medicine. I'm doing research with microarrays and schizophrenia. Also preparing for the school year and trying to figure out what SO events I'm interested in attempting to design a decent test for. All...

Re: Site features? [3]
OK, so I haven't been around for a while and just skimmed this thread, but is the Karma system going to be limited to the event help threads or is it going to be in the general chat/regional forums as well?
