I recommend using the CDC Epidemiology Textbook https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dsepd/ss1978/index.html.

Re: Environmental Chemistry C

Hi there -- does anybody have any advice on preparing for the labs for this event? A lot of the reagents etc that are used for the relevant EPA protocols are pretty expensive/hard to find/not useful for much else, so it doesn't seem ideal to actually get *all* the materials and practice *every* ass...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C - The 5 Steps for Surveillance

Hello, I feel like the 5 steps to surveillance on the scioly wiki page are outdated. The source link redirects to the Division of Scientific Education and Professional Development (DSEPD) home page, meaning that the original link probably no longer exists. The 5 steps that I was following can be fo...

Battle at Valley Forge Invitational

The Conestoga invitational (originally planned to be in person this Saturday) has been cancelled. It's a shame because this is the only in-person invitational I (and a lot of other people) were going to go to this year, but of course safety comes first. I hope that next year the covid situation will...

Re: Cell Biology C

Well, let's get this started with something simple and essential then: 1. The distribution of covering epithelium? 2. The difference between exocrine and endocrine glands? Are you sure these are questions for cell biology? It looks like anatomy to me. Or maybe I've been studying the wrong stuff oop...
