Penncrest were 28 points away from not making states. That being said in 2006 they got 4th in regionals and 5th at nationals so anything can happen at states.

c division 1. Ohio (constantly place 2 teams in the top 5 or six and could probably have 4 or 5 teams that could beat the team that gets 10th in nationals) 2. Also, I would like to point out that the last time this event was around (07 and 08) the quality in instruments increased drastically after a year. At Nats in 07 I'd say there was only one team with 2 good instruments (Troy that year, they had an alto trombone and a really nice guitar and deservedly...

Previously sounds of music did not ban/limit the types of instruments other than penalizing teams with 2 instruments of the same kind. I suspect they banned string instruments this year because string and percussion instruments are both really easy to get to cover the whole range so the vast majorit...

I would also like to mention that until recently, a lot of welsh valley also has the choice to go to Lower Merion. For example if you live across the street from Lower Merion you are actually zoned to go to welsh valley then choose your high school (still the current system I believe). In my class f...
