Re: Video game thread.

Is anyone else excited for the upcoming Touhou 13 release? For those uninitiated, Touhou is a vertical-scrolling curtain-fire shooter notorious for its difficulty and the amount of memes it has spawned. http://www.animecrazy.net/forums/members/u23633/crusnikzero-albums-wtf-pics-picture47531-danmaku-...

Re: Chem Lab C

I've been out of Science Olympiad for a long time, but I would recommend pulling a book from the library (might have to use inter-library loan) called Quantitative Chemical Analysis by Harris, or a similarly leveled analytical chem book if you want to be really super in this event and to try to get...

Re: SAT or SATII

Couldn't you just elect to send specific Subject Test scores to the college? Admittedly, some schools require subject tests in specific categories (usually 1 Math and 1 Science).

Do you know of any schools this year that require 3 SAT II scores for admissions purposes?

Re: Gulf Oil Spill Solutions

Yes, they're trying large quantities of both those types of bacteria as well as chemical dispersants. Unfortunately, the effect that these chemical/biological agents will have on the ecosystem cannot be predicted. However, it probably can't be worse than having all of the oil seep into coastal wetla...
