Goodbye Science Olympiad! This was my final competition, and I thrilled to have finished on such a high note at States. Good luck to everyone going to nationals and everyone competing next year.

Can I clarify something? Is there no specific target distance for the vehicle to travel, it just has to be within the 7-8m, and come as close to the starting point as possible?

I really need some help. I have been trying to find something to launch the trajectory with. I tried bungee cords, and it was working well until it broke. I tried to buy more bungee cords from a dollar store , but they broke immediately when I tried to stretch them. I need something with a lot of t...

Gate latches are use alot, I don't know if that's what you are refering to.

Does surgical tubing retain its tension well to make testing consistent? I was thinking about using bungee cords, but they don't offer very consistent data.
