Like I said above, the barrier was ~5cm in front of the target, and about 4 cm wide.
Just to make sure I understand correctly: You stated that the barrier was ~5 cm from the target. This means that it was also ~51 cm away from the laser right?

chalker, I know it's not your committee, but do you happen to know if the astronomy div c topics is planned to stay galaxies or change? Do you think you could let us know after the summer conference?

My medals all go in a box- after every competition I write a letter to myself about how the day went, the ups, the downs, etc and those go in the box too. after I graduate next year I'm going to go through and read all the dumb things I probably wrote lol :)

Since there is an updated schedule I am going to re-voice my dislike at having both Technical Problem Solving and Fermi. These are both math events, which (espeically TPS) are reminiscent of math olympiads. I do not think Fermi should be brought back. TPS at least is indicative of the measuring and ...

Okay, so I tried a really low pitch (.8 vertical spacing and 3.5 tip to tip) and with 1,000 winds on 1/8, it rises about 14 feet, and falls back. So clearly lift is the issue. From what I know, if the pitch is higher, it should get more lift. But, in order for flight with 1/8, I needed to use a pre...
