I hate to spam the thread but can anyone answer my question from a few posts back? "Hmm so i did some extensive rubber testing for the past hour or so, and it's been pretty amazing. I was getting 850 winds, winding on the copter, and with a simple jig and torque meter, i got an easy 1100 winds on t...

I feel that even if a rule was added to the rules the event supervisor would still do what they think is fair....

Tethers and tether weights may be made from any material, and may be attached to the helicopter with any of the materials listed in 2....

Re: 2011-2012 Events

Does anyone think that the topic of astronomy (div C) will change next year? I hope not, I like galaxies and last time they had variable stars it lasted for more than 2 years.

Re: 2011-2012 Events

Fermi isn't technically replacing Mission. Look at my post above for a general overview of the event categories. Fermi is in the Inquiry & Nature of Science category while Mission is in the Technology and Engineering category. Someone on the first page on this thread stated that Fermi replaces miss...

Re: 2011-2012 Events

Mr chalker, I am not sure how well Fermi will replace Mission since one is a study event and one is a buidling event. In addition, If Fermi is added next year there will be two math events, Fermi and Technical Problem Solving. Even though these two events belong to different committees, I think ther...
