Re: Physics Lab B/C

I personally have found that it's better to minimize the diameter with the designs I've used. Our A team in division B has produced higher voltage with theirs than I have with mine, and since the kid building them is my brother, I've been using his designs. I dunno. That's just what's worked for me,...

Re: You Know You're A Nerd When...

When you make science jokes such as "your epidermis is showing" outside of school and SO.
When you ask for someone to pass you the sodium chloride.

Re: It's About Time C

I've never heard of it before. I just searched it and everything came back relating to pregnancies. Perhaps a physics, biology, or anatomy teacher would know?

Re: General Questions

It's essentially the same thing you're doing, but we have ours strung out through a series of open pullies so our string can be longer and it'll drag for longer.

EDIT: Nevermind. We fixed our problem and it now runs for forty seconds and flips the switch.

Re: General Questions

My partners and I are having trouble with our mission device. We've got everything planned out and working for the most part, but for the challenge where we have to move the mass for ten seconds is givin' us crap. It either goes too fast and flips the switch at the end, or it goes long enough and la...

Re: Physics Lab B/C

Thank you! Actually I have another question about size limits: do the blades have to be *between* 25 and 28 cm diameter (i.e. 25 is minimum and 28 is maximum) or is the maximum somewhere arbitrarily between 25 and 28 cm (i.e. anywhere lower than that arbitrary value is fine)? And are there limits o...

Re: Physics Lab B/C

A friend of mine picked up a copy of that a few days after it was released. He was really impressed by it. It was also the first game he got for his new PS3.

Also, Dragon Age: Origins looks AWESOME
Agreed to both. I'm particularly excited about the dual hidden blades in Assassin's Creed 2.
