What are your opinions about rigid vs. flexible pendulums? I had pretty much discounted the idea of a string pendulum, but I saw a bunch of them at the regional at according to the rumor mill some of them did very well. We didn't test any, but I assumed that over longer time spans the rigid pendulu...

at the competition yesterday they didnt use the official time trial files. but the guy said they were using windows media player so i guess that is good. and the test had 30-40 questions and was very hard. i still got first

at the competition yesterday my score was 335 points. we won first place in a tiebreaker. i had a 100 point penalty because the one graph i hand drew was not on graph paper (i drew it on the bus ride to the competition). unfortunately as soon as we got back to our school the robotics took back the r...

pendulums are def the best simple designs. however more sophisticated designs of something else may work better

is 50 degrees to high of an angle? i feel like it might hit the ceiling depending on where the event is held but i would think i will need it to shoot that high to hit the closest target, which could be 2 meters away and 2 meters high

its not a time counter. its manual so it really wouldnt help you. i didnt get one i just check every 10 periods of my pendulum on a piece of paper
