Thermo is rotating out this year.

Re: chalker, can I...

Dear Dr. Chalker, I would like to make suggestions for the Density Lab rules in the 2020 season. To give you some background on me, I received 2nd place at IL State (where the national event supervisor was supervising). Thus, I would say that I am moderately knowledgeable about the event and its to...

Re: Nationals Event Discussion

So someone came into my sounds testing room with me and basically videoed/photographed (I think videoed, but not sure) my entire build run. Is this normal? Yeah, I agree as well. Even though I wasn't there and didn't see the strobe lights, I know how big of a problem they can be for people that suffer from epilepsy or just have generally sensitive eyesight. Whoever organizes this stuff should think about the potential effects of strobe lights and cons...

Re: 2019 National Tournament: Cornell University

I think I have a bridge in the time capsule I put together at end of high school. I think it might be due for opening this year. I've still got an intact bridge from circa 1993 which got me a bronze at nationals;) Out of interest, how did the nats medals look back then lol That's a good question.. ...

Re: 2019 National Tournament: Cornell University

I have 4 year of planes and heli's from my teams. Can't bear to toss them, too many good memories! But they sure take up space! Coach Chuck Hehe. Still got my bridge from 2015 intact... Same with the mostly intact boomilevers. Always store your builds if possible. I think I have a bridge in the tim...

Re: DuPont Team Enterprise Award Watch

FYI, because of the DuPont / Dow merger, the Award is now called the Corteva Agriscience Enterprise Award.

I don't think Ohio has ever released raw scores for the State tournament.
Correct. That's generally standard practice across the nation.

Re: Ohio 2019

So the word on the street is that the division B anatomy test had very little if anything to do with the content in the rules manual. And if you look at the scores, Anatomy was the worst or second worst event for several of the top teams including Solon, Kenston, Chardon, Tower Heights, Magsig etc....
