What makes me curious is how you have 37 medals in just 1 year haha.

Re: Sign Task

I agree that putting too much weight is not good; but within reason, it seems to be better to have a heavier sign (up to the reasonable limit) rather than to have a lighter sign. Heard about one MP device (didn't witness it myself) that had a sign of about 10 grams and successfully completed the fi...

TSL

Hey guys, I know that the sample TSL is posted on the soinc website, but I have a minor question. In the sample the points for the timer and final task are +Variable Points (Just to generalize). Re: Temperature Task

Our team used a bimetallic coil from a thermometer with the needle still on it to complete a circuit. We were a little worried about the time it would take to cool enough, but we got with 3 secs of a minute at regionals. Interestingly enough, the bimetallic strip is actually one of our most reliabl...

Re: Temperature Task

So, having this information coming from a past task, I assume that you guys have had success with the bimetallic strip. What would you guys advise heating it up, or cooling it down, and do you know how far it would uncurl or curl. Either heating or cooling is fine, just have to make sure that your ...
