Re: Scioly Assassination 81: The End of the World

Re: PSATs

If you've got to solve a bunch of those, probably much quicker to "subtract" the equations. In this case it becomes a problem you could solve in your head. 2(a+b)=300, so Eq1-2*Eq2 results in 3b = 144 or b=48. Then a=150-48=102. Very much agreed. At my schools last math league meet, some people got...

Re: Keep the Heat B/Thermodynamics C

I know this is a topic that is causing some people to get hot under the collar, but let's all try to keep a cool head rather than displaying an outright coldness to one another, because no matter how much you may want to burn someone it won't cause anything to get done. That's kind of unremarkable (sorry but I've been dealing with emulators for years) and borderline not posting material, emulators are still in the grey area of law.

Re: PSATs

A lot of people seem to think that the ACT is knowledge based and easier for students who are almost finished with high school, while the SAT is harder to prepare for. I'm going to be taking the PSAT this weekend as sophomore and I'm really glad there's no essay section - I can't write an SAT essay...

http://knowyourmeme.com/system/icons/554/original/facepalm.jpg?1248715065 To actually answer your question, you did something called thread necromancy. You brought a very old thread up to the current page by posting it without a very good reason to do so (sorry but I saw your post and it really ser...

Hey, you'll post about both (especially Tufts, because I've heard some good things about it but don't know much else), yeah? If you would like me to do so then sure. If you're interested in engineering...
