Tip Plates vs. Fin on Stab

What's the difference (advantages/disadvantages) of using tip plates versus one fin on the stabilizer?
IS the difference that great?

Re: Ohio State Predictions

What can i say guys? The OSU Competition is probably the most competitive competition of all. The top Div. B teams (Solon, Chardon, Magsig) have all been state champs for the past three years, and they have all gone twice. I really feel for those guys at Solon HS who really probably took so much tim...

Re: Ohio State Predictions

Great competition

But first I must explain that I coached two different schools this year in Tennessee, finishing first and second at regionals, and third and sixth at state. I've been following this forum for months, and have le...

Re: Wright Stuff B

Is there any significant advantage of having two fins on the stab?. I realize that many top teams in my state are using two fins.

Re: Wright Stuff B

This may have been mentioned before, but is it worth the risk to go for a 6.5 cm wing chord for the bonus?

Thanks in advance

Re: Wright Stuff B

Is the prop you have pitched differently than the Ikara? I think it is. The Ikara spins much more slowly well you should always test with a 7 gram plan, because then you flight log and everything would be pretty much useless, also change the angle of attack. i'm pretty impressed, 1:30 without the p...
