Re: Wright Stuff B

Thanks, that's what I suspected. I'm at weight with the appropriate wiggle room (of .1-.2g) right now with clay so weight isn't a big problem for me.

Re: Crave the Wave!!

On some practice tests and the like, a question will be like, "The frequency of a wave is 2 Hz, what is its wavelength?" You need speed as well to determine wavelength, so they wouldn't ask this at States without specifying if it was an EM wave or the speed, right? :?:

Re: How well is Regionals run?

Mine is pretty well run. Events are usually no more than a few minutes late and most rules are followed. They did impound elevated bridge when in the rules it says no impound. Most events are there and all count. Wright Stuff and Compute This are the only events I can think of off-hand that aren't t...

Re: Your Screenname

I have no idea how I came up with mine. On July 2nd, 2008, I got a PS3 and needed a PSN name. I lave cats too much, and play violin, but I couldn't think of anything good involving them. After a few minutes of frantic pacing, blue cobra hit me completely out of the blue (no pun intended). I don't ev...

Re: How many medals do you have?

This is my first year and I have 3 so far.
1st for Wright Stuff at Invitationals
1st for Crave the Wave at Regionals
3rd for Elevated Bridge at Regionals
Hopefully I'll get more at States :D
EDIT: Add a 5th for Crave the Wave at States to that ;)

Re: Wright Stuff B

How do you think 1:40 would place in NY? (Well, that was 1:40 in our not-super-tall- I'd guess 20ft- gym. Does anyone know what that would translate to in New Paltz's 27ft gym? It rose all the way to the ceiling several times, and in fact hit the folded up basketball hoops a couple times :-/ ) How ...
