Re: Ultimate Tournament

I can taste the championship as we speak, and every night I dream of it. Then I wake up and do 100 push-ups and jog 5 miles to school. It's go time, finally all the hard work will pay off. Those days when your body can't take anymore, it's past its breaking point but you push harder, finally those ...

Re: Ultimate Tournament

We will not be ordering custom-printed discs. I heard back from Discraft, and we'd have to pay around $200-300 for a rush printing, and Jazzy, our coach, and I decided it'd be too expensive, not to mention a major hassle.

Re: Ultimate Tournament

For a design, I'd just put the SONT '10 logo. Psh. BOR-ING. <said in that tone thats all, you know... boringish. i vote we have a disc design contest... I'm with Soob. Partly because the SONT design is probably copyrighted, so I'd need to get written approval, which sounds like a hassle. EDIT: Whoe...

Re: Ultimate Tournament

So I go to Jazzy's school, and I was wondering: Who would be interested in purchasing custom-printed Science Olympiad discs? Standard UPA-approved 175-gram Discraft UltraStars, of course. They should be about $5-10, depending on how many people are interested. I was thinking they'd be cool and uniq...

Re: Nationals Swap Meet 2010!

I live in the State Of Hockey, so maybe we'll bring some hockey stuff. Would custom-printed Science Olympiad frisbees (well, Discraft UltraStars - standard UPA-approved ultimate discs) be good for the swap meet? They wouldn't have anything about states on them, but I think I'm going to order a bunch...
