Re: Your Daily Random Comment

Been playing a lot of chess recently, ran into this and wanted to share. White to move, guaranteed checkmate for white.

The attack starts with Bxe5. It's amazing how my simple move of Be7 leads to a line where I'm guaranteed to lose.

Then you're given a 50 min final exam about anything in the subject. It's a test of your ability to self-study and your motivation/dedication. It moti...

Re: Science Olympiad, a Timesink?

I think is a interesting discussion, but first to answer Skink's question, I think the answer is quite simple. Yes, to do well in Science Olympiad you have to spend significant amounts of time, and if you do, it does act as a "time sink." Now, is that time well spent? Is it worthwhile? Well, there w...

NO UNINSTALL LEAGUE IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE JK, but it's really addicting. Especially if you watch pro streams on twitch. Or browse r/leagueoflegends and the League forums. Then the video played and reality of the situation kicked in.

I try not to get too mad about it, after all, you don't need a teacher to say how good something is, nor is she the end all judge. If you learned something and challenged ...
