Re: 2011-2012 Events

There will be no major changes on the construction or the task, however there will be a major addition to the event of a documentation component. Will the field a...

Re: Preliminary:Thermodynamics Lab

I agree. While I initially thought the draft rules had an over-dependence on the building part, I am now disappointed to see the build's importance diminished. I have some good ideas and am looking forward to the building part of the event. Events that are half build and half test I find hard to mas...

Re: Robot Arm B/C [Trial]

When programming a custom robot such as a robot arm, you would have to program what inputs control what servos. The trial rules mandate that the robot must be controlled by some kind of remote, just as the sumo bot rules. Also, in the trial rules speed is not emphasized, which would be the main bene...

Re: Preliminary:Forestry

I thought the 2004 tree list would be very helpful until I found the 2002 bird list at http://web.archive.org/web/20020202103105/http://www.battaly.com/so/birds/listnatl.htm. This list demonstrates that they changed many of the bird species for 2010, and I assume they have done the same for forestry...
