I found this website, http://www.ebsinstitute.com/rs.ebs.html, that is also a pretty good introduction to remote sensing. It may be a bit elementary, but I thought the activities help...

It wasn't that competitive though, because AZ isn't... that good?

During the same year, 768 new cases of HIV were reported, and 67 residents died as a result of HIV/AIDS. What is...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

I'm sure this has been asked before, but should we know the symptoms of food-borne illnesses only, or other diseases as well? (For the state level.)

Re: 2011 AMC

I did a lot better on 10A than 10B... but I didn't make AIME. -_- I'm really upset with myself on the 10A... I misread 3 problems out of the first 10 or so, dropping me down from what could have been a 124.5 or even a 130.5 to a lowly 106.5. And the B, I simply didn't study for. (I was working on Sc...

Re: Sounds of Music C

Yep, I'm using bouncy balls as mallets (the ones that I mentioned had in that post were wooden and didn't work very well). Bouncy balls work pretty well, although in the lower register, you might get some "boing" noises along with the actual note. This works depending on the type of marimba/xylopho...

Re: Ornithology B/C

Right now, I'm looking up the number of eggs in the clutches of each type of bird, and I'm getting some different results... how should I sort them out?
