One of the most important things is knowing how to read a weather station model. I can almost guarantee that they will be on every test you will ever take this year for meteorology. Well my former team was a homeschooled team, so we usually recruited by going to homeschooling events, and by word of mouth through homeschooling friends. We usually don't recruit a ton of people, but for the amount we get, we have had an enormous amount of success at the state and national levels.

Thanks again! I have a copy of Meteorology Today already and I'll go check out the Audobon. :D I already know the basic cloud types, but do we need to know rare cloud formations too?
What do you mean by rare cloud formations?

Yeah, fossil is competing, but he's not putting much into it this year.. I think he's focusing more on ocean bowl. I'm really really busy this year so I'm gonna take a break (I know... breaks are unheard of) :P
