Re: Science Olympiad Stories

Traveling to Orlando by plane, the airport security had to open up my suitcase. They opened the shoebox in my suitcase. They pull out a wooden box with a LED, two lead wires, and an on/off switch out.

However, if two people are trying to rework any page at the same time, use the talk page to document whatever is happening s...

Re: Sounds of Music B

The correct pronounciation is "tamber".

However, it is not spelled "tamber", or "tambre", or "timbar", or "tambir", or "timber", etc...

Re: Maryland 2014

Yeah, I was really surprised at how much we won. For example, I thought we couldn't do better than 2nd on CJAP (Urbana too OP at chem), and before day of, I was skeptical about WIDI (though after my partner talked about it afterwards I was 1st-2nd place confident). The one I really shouldn't have wo...

Re: Sounds of Music B

(Hi Trueshot.) The main way to increase volume is to create a larger resonator box. More vibrations, more sound waves. I understand this is complicated and inconvenient to change, but it's how it works. Think about it; a resonator box is an amplification box. Electric instruments make practically no...
