Re: Air Trajectory B/C

Hey everyone! I just thought I would share some info about the air trajectory device that I built for this season. This was probably my favorite event (even though it caused me endless stress and frustration) and it's sad to see that it won't be replaced with another trajectory event :/ So this devi...

Re: Air Trajectory B/C

My partners feet were outside the square but his hand was hovering inside when he pulled the pin. It must have only been sticking inside a couple inches or so.

Re: Air Trajectory B/C

Does anyone have the scores for air trajectory at nats? I got 0cm on the close 5.2 cm on the far and landed both bucket shots, but also got a 100 point penalty. I just want to see where I would have placed if we didn't get that penalty.

Re: Flight Times and/or Videos

That's an interesting point you bring up and something I hadn't even noticed until now. I wonder if that was the intention of the rule makers though, as it seems like anyone using the bonus would be at a sizable disadvantage when the rules should be encouraging people to try the bonus. (10 seconds i...

Re: Flight Times and/or Videos

My first official flight was with .094" rubber and ~1300 or 1400 winds I think, and as soon as I let go the plane veered left and hit the ground, wiggling across the ground as the motor unwound (which resulted in our wings breaking lol). Decided to back off on winds because of that incident and it ...

Re: Scores

I found this video on YouTube of A footbridge at an invitational. It held full load and in tHe video description, it said tHe efficiency was 3641 for division C. I was really surprised by this, because it looked rather heavy (or at least heavier then 4.12g). Does this seem possible to any of you al...

The planes probably have the potential to get 3+ minutes but their performance is limited to how well they are built and trimmed.

Probably 1 day for Dave to ship the order out, and then 3-5 business days for the order to get to you depending on where you live.

Re: Dimes

I've had some success with the dime bonus, but I haven't spent too much time experimenting with different numbers of dimes etc. I'm currently using three.
