Re: Virginia 2020

My predictions for States : Division B: 1. Longfellow (It will be close though, Cooper could definitely overthrow Longfellow this year) 2. Cooper 3. Luther Jackson 4. Frost (Based on my experience this year, Frost is definitely much stronger) 5. J. Michael Lunsford 6. Lake Braddock (After a chaotic...

So I think I might have come up with a general theory of sorts???

If you're using your freedom of _____ to take away someone else's freedom of _____ it's not freedom
State your variables specifically. Are both blanks supposed to be equivalent?

Re: 2020 Solon HS Invitational

Predictions: (superscore) 1. Stevenson 2. Solon 3. Centerville 4. Mason 5. New Trier 6. Northville 7. Cumberland Valley 8. Rustin 9. Ssa 10. Carmel Centerville over Mason? I don't know much about the teams this year but with Mason doing so well the past few years, that's a bit of a hot take too. No...

How long till I get to help at a big big invite.... (MIT plz hit me up) all the mit supervisors seemed to be either super established t...

Re: Pennsylvania 2020

There were significantly more top teams at MIT this year. Harriton has historically placed top 3 at past MIT invitationals with similar competitiveness. Placing 11th last year was already low, but 22nd this year is extremely low. They were where I would expect a 30th place Nationals team to place. ...

Re: Pennsylvania 2020

It looks like they were. The last invite harriton went to was conestoga (correct me if i'm wrong). At BAVF, their score was 255 compared to our 137 (we were unstacked but obviously a little skewed to one team, they brought their freshmen). This isn't a great way of calculating it but their score wa...

Re: New York 2020

It looks like nobody has mentioned MC Barons yet (maybe because it's in PA) but a few notable New York teams competed. Kellenburg took first and The Mount Academy got 7th. Other competitive teams there were Bayard Rustin (unstacked) with 2nd and 5th, Northwestern Lehigh 3rd, Ithaca 4th, and Athens ...
