Re: Your Daily Random Comment

My random comment of the day: Switzerland, of all countries, allows all of it's citizens to have guns in their home. This is ironic because Switzerland is notorious for being "peaceful" and staying neutral in both of the two World Wars. Pretty random.

Re: Experimental Design B/C

I'm new to division C...how do you do Standard of Deviation? That is part of the Statistics in C, right?

Re: Would you rather?

I would probably travel to the future, as no one knows about it. It would be pretty special to have knowledge know one else in the present knows.
Would you rather have a new dinosaur named after you or invent some new mode of communication?

Re: Worst books

I'm going to be cliche here but...Ulysses By James Joyce is exceedingly dull, and the fact that it "boasts" one of the longest sentences in the English language isn't exactly a good boast to make.

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B

Hmmmm, I'm glad I retired from B this year as to not have to deal with this! We had enough trouble making our car go straight! Obviously, I would guess this mean one of the axles isn't permanently in a straight position, and is pushed in a direction once the axle has revolved a certain amount. Have ...

Well...I think Lincoln has the lowest unemployment rate of any US city that qualifies, but not sure. Also not sure what that has to do with science, but it does have something to do with the location. ;)

Elephant, remember a lot of us are just starting this event...I know I am just getting into this stuff. Maybe we should start off a bit easier, like something we could get with only a couple days of studying:D

Just for anyone who needs it, EPA website will be good for this event, as a whole section is devoted to environmental issues and the EPA has tons of resources about it. Remember to check the sources for which the website got the info so you can check out those websites too.

If not, NOAA has a lot of general information about oceanography. Furthermore, because Oceanography is an actual Scientific study, you could just look up Oc...

Not without realizing it...although I will sing "kars for kids" if it comes on sometimes to annoy whoever is in the car.

Have you ever climbed a tree and then realized that its going to be really hrd to get back down?
