I seem to be bad at following through on these. ><

Anyone can go who has the desire.

(Nats is getting closer and I'm freaking out about what information to add to my binder...)

Re: Scioly.org Meetup at Nationals

You go down a ramp for about 30 feet, take a right, take another right, and go through the door. According to the building plans that Unome posted, which door is it at? So the people setting it up can have an easier time knowing where they are without looking at the building plans. The door is not ...

Re: Events 2016-2017

Do any of you guys know when Fossils will be back? Most likely for the 2019 season; as per chalker's stated guidelines that the committees are using, Rocks will be in rotation for two years. I'm actually quite excited to do Rocks and Minerals next year! I've found fossils to be very interesting and...

I didn't even release there was a meeting at the Swap Meet last year. I wish I would have gone. 0_o

Re: Invasive Species B/C

I'll give it a go:|1. Whitetop / Lepidium Draba 2. Crowds out native species and reduces crop yields; mildly toxic; reduces rangeland health 3. I'm not sure... I'd definitely like to know, though! 4. (Assuming this is the Whitetop) - Its counterpart (Hairy Whitetop) has more circular/globula...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

I spent (approximately) one month in Green generation, so this was somewhat familiar, but they had Survivorship curve questions that I could not get correct to save my life. Have you ever encountered questions solely relating to population w/o the presence of disease detection? I've seen that on an...

Re: Who's Going to Nationals 2016?

I'm officially attending from St. Joseph's Catholic School in Idaho.

(Events: Fossils, Picture This, Green Generation, Invasive Species)

EDIT: I was actually put into Green Generation opposed to Disease Detectives this year for the national competition. ;)

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

I just had my state competition, and we will be advancing on to the national competition! I'm so excited! However, the Disease Detective test was a little rough, and it was my worst event overall. I spent (approximately) one month in Green generation, so this was somewhat familiar, but they had Surv...

Re: Idaho 2016

Well dang! Glad to know there is another Idaho user here. I'm not usually on the forums, as I have long since graduated, but its encouraging none the less! I am now the event supervisor for Dynamic Planet, and the overseer for Road Scholar, Meteorology, and Geologic Mapping at the state competition...
