Re: Road Scholar B

Ok I'm going to say this as a warning for any states that haven't happened. Some places are taking this "rule change" close to heart. There might be profiling. At my state they only had like 10 questions out of 30 on topos, none on state highway. And instead of full sized maps they were printed on a...

Re: Southern California 2017

Anyone think the predicted weather forecast will mess with events? Namely Bottle Rockets, Helicopters, and Towers... It's rained every single competition I've been to this season... Definitely for bottle rockets. For example, our bottle rockets get destroyed in the wind. But aren't towers and helic...

Re: Wind Power B/C

Nice, what resistor are you on? Since I didn't want to double post I'll edit this in 33) The power generated by a turbine is 18,000 Watts. If the wind speed, which is initially 30 m/s decreases by 25%, what must the lift force be in order to generate the same amount of power? A) 600 N B) 2,400 N C) ...

(in comparison to, say, the Westlake test, since that's the hardest one I've taken so far) Wait, how did you get access to it? You didn't compete it it...
