### Re: Thermodynamics B/C

In addition to another Scioly-er's question on the forums, is there a fixed temperature for the ice water, because if there is, then tests can (with difficulty) allow you to predict exactly what the end temperature will be. If not, then some serious math will be involved, and I'd need to pull out a...

1k carbon tow, applied with two coats of duco thinned 50/50 with acetone, also pre glue wood with one coat of the glue adds 0.005 grams per inch. Start with very light 1/16" square wood (less than 5.0 lb per cubic foot) and apply the carbon to two sides. Brian T Where do you buy 1k Carbon Fiber Tow?

Does anyone know what the best blades at nats looked like? Were they lift-based? Were they 3d printed? What material were they made of? Did they extend to the center of the CD or only near the outside? I'm also curious to know this. Also, anyone know the top voltage scores? We came in 8th with 335 ...

Nice, what resistor are you on? Since I didn't want to double post I'll edit this in 33) The power generated by a turbine is 18,000 Watts. If the wind speed, which is initially 30 m/s decreases by 25%, what must the lift force be in order to generate the same amount of power? A) 600 N B) 2,400 N C)...

Hi Chalker, I am from Paul J. Gelinas JHS. I was wondering if you could tell me how many points first place Crime Busters division B had? Also would you be able to tell me how many seconds 6th place Elastic Launched Glider was? Finally, if you don't mind, would you be able to tell me how many points...
